Senior
Compensation Analyst
role is an independent contributor with knowledge and experience in Firm-wide and Corporate Compensation activities who is responsible for leading Firm-wide compensation analysis, reporting and metrics. We are looking for someone who has strong technical skills (Excel, Access, BBH Compensation planning system) and is comfortable with data, analytics, financially numerate in accounting and reconciling salary and bonus budgets. This role primarily supports firm-wide initiatives under the direction of the Global Head of Compensation while also providing back up support across the compensation team as needed, particularly during year end.This is an opportunity for someone who is strong technically and financially numerate and wants to learn and grow within the Compensation discipline.Key responsibilities include:BBH Promotion ProgramCandidate will be the lead manager of the BBH promotion program and will be the primary contact with HR Business Partners. Candidate will also:
Create compensation increase recommendations using pre-determined guidelinesCreate presentations for Firm Senior Executive CommitteeAnalyze data for trends and prepare graphs and charts detailing findingsLead process enhancement reviews
Compensation AnalyticsIdentifies the need for and creates reports to support compensation initiatives and Senior Executive meetingsAssist Head of Compensation in ad hoc analyses pertaining to firm wide initiatives and programsYear End Compensation ProgramResponsible for year-end reporting that is used by the Head of Comp for presentations to Senior Executive CommitteeAssist Head of Comp in the preparation of Senior Executive Committee materialsResponsible for accuracy of source data for Year-end compensation systemAssist in Year-End process analytics and reportingMaintain web pages for Year-End compensation system and HR Portal compensation pagesMarket Pricing SystemManage employee and survey upload process to maintain data integrityLead on the survey submission processPartner with vendor to develop custom reports to meet Compensation Team needsProject ManagementActs as lead and/or active team member on compensation related projects such as People fluent conversion compensation program design and implementation, external bench-marking studies.Participates in broader HR initiatives representing the Compensation functionCompletes compensation related ad hoc requestsQualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required3-5+ years of experience in compensation, finance, or in a technical fieldAdvanced knowledge and application of Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, graphs, macros, scenario modeling)Knowledge of Access Database Tables, Queries, and ReportingStrong analytical skillsAbility to get to the root cause of an issue and understand it’s impacts both technically and to a non-Compensation professionalAbility to solve routine problems and issues independently, knowing when to leverage SMEs to resolve more complex situationsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting all deadlinesExperience actively participating in compensation year end salary and bonus cyclesExperience leading Projects- leveraging project management disciplinePreferred
